Dystopian Wars: New releases and Campaign Book

Spartan Games have announced its first campaign book for Dystopian Wars, Hurricane Season, along with brand new models to use when playing out some of the scenarios from the fully-illustrated campaign book.

The campaign book chronicles the bitter struggle between the Federated States of America and the Empire of the Blazing Sun. With the involvement of the Kingdom of Britannia, Prussian Empire and Covenant of Antarctica, Spartan say this is a truly epic military struggle. Hurricane Season comes in hardback and provides a series of scenarios to play, detailing major actions in the campaign. The Covenant of Antarctica rules and stats are included along with new rules for National Fleet Commodores, Amphibious Landings, Deployment Orders and more.

Amphibious warfare now becomes possible in Dystopian Wars. To help link naval and armoured fleets, Spartan Games have announced the Large Landing Barge, capable of transporting any unit from an Armoured Battle Group across the sea. Landing Platforms add further amphibious capability to armoured units, and Small Landing Barges are perfect for assaulting secondary targets with small vehicles or infantry.

  1. Every time I see something concerning this game, it is always something so interesting and intriguing for me to want to join. Just need to get the gaming club interested in the idea first.. which I guess means I should pick up a few factions for myself ;)

    1. It is a great game. The only thing I would suggest is don't buy a lot of models. Games over 750pts can take ages and you won't get them finished in a night. Here's a link to a fleet builder to help you work out points. http://www.wargamerau.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=118683
